WCEE Corporate Sponsorship Information
2025-2026

Letter from the WCEE Executive Board:

We are honored to welcome you to the University of Illinois chapter of Women in Civil and Environmental Engineering. We co-founded this club together in 2023 as sophomores and it has truly played a huge role in our academic and professional careers as undergraduate students. This club started as an idea that we had in passing but it has grown to become so much more. It has allowed us to watch underclassmen grow into more confident versions of themselves with the mentorship and safe space that we were able to provide for them. It has also provided us the opportunity to build a community and grow as leaders while seeing the fruition of our efforts as people create lifelong bonds at our different events.

Becoming a corporate sponsor for Women in Civil and Environmental Engineering would offer your company an audience and visibility from the Grainger College of Engineering alongside all the potential that Grainger’s students have to offer. You will have access to the highest levels of academic talent and be able to meet some of the brightest minds from our student body.

Your commitment to supporting us as an organization will be of great benefit to every student within WCEE as they will be able to grow as engineers from the new opportunities, we are able to present to them. Your support will allow underrepresented students to succeed in a heavily male dominated field.

We have a variety of sponsorship options outlined within the following pages of our sponsorship packet. We would be more than happy to speak and meet with you about options to fit your specific sponsorship aims and goals. We look forward to working with you!

Thank you for your support,

Our Mission Statement

The Women in CEE RSO caters to empower tomorrow’s innovators by providing professional support to unite women and underrepresented individuals in civil engineering. We are dedicated to creating an inclusive community by collaborating with industry leaders and educational institutions. We aim to create positive change and foster an environment where everyone can succeed.

Our Goals

Serve as an information center for women in civil and environmental engineering

Engage in group and individual projects

Motivate young women (high schoolers) to become civil and environmental engineers

Promote relationships with professional groups, businesses, industries, and other organizations

Our Impact

AS AN ORGANIZATION DEDICATED TO PROVIDING WOMEN WITH
OPPORTUNITIES IN CIVIL ENGINEERING, WE PRIDE OURSELVES IN SEVERAL AREAS:

Outreach

Through our outreach team, we have already created professional networking opportunities for women in our organization

Supporting Women in CEE

We have created a community of women in the civil and environmental engineering department that seek to support and learn from one another.

Community Impact

Our members have volunteered in engagement events at the university that expose younger people to engineering at a top ranked university.

Educational Opportunities

By creating a network of upperclassmen and underclassmen alike, we have enriched younger members with information that they would not otherwise have access to.

Academic Success

We are dedicated to academic success and integrity. Our organization supports a culture of academic achievement by celebrating the success of a minority in the department.

How your support would help us.

As a newer club at the University of Illinois, we are looking for funding that allows us to create engaging networking events, further reach out to women in our community, and provide opportunities for our members to explore technical skills through engineering projects that we otherwise would not be able to afford.
